In May, 10 school cake parties engaged 265 admitted students across Peel, York and Toronto, celebrating achievements, building connections and fostering excitement and informed decisions about joining York.

National AccessAbility Week
National AccessAbility Week (May 25 to June 5) activities united students and employers to explore inclusive workplaces. Through workshops, a career fair and virtual sessions, participants built confidence and gained practical strategies for accessibility and career success.
The event enhanced the student journey by building career readiness, fostering self‑advocacy and connecting students with inclusive employers, supporting confidence, skill development and equity.
